After a video of a racist attack on black children in the Rosedale neighborhood of Queens from 1975 went viral, we searched for the victims. In our documentary, they shared their painful memories.

This New York Times visual investigation won the 2021 NPPA Best of Photojournalism Award for Online Video Storytelling, the World Press Photo Short Video of the Year, and was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy for Outstanding Long Feature Story in a Newscast.
